本專輯，精選了世界著名的《環境音樂》。諸如【春花秋月、斜風細雨、世界自然的映
像、風俗及自尊】均收錄在本專輯之中。

環境音樂AmbientMusic一語，初見於最近90年代，是一種新興的音樂。先有"愛立克
．沙弟"，想創作一種音樂，其特質是《無為的音樂》，「只知其存在，亦可忽視它」就
如同家裡的傢俱一般。愛立克．沙弟將這種音樂定名為《傢俱的音樂》。

其後，有英國人"布雷安．伊諾"，發表了「Ambient專輯」，將（無為的音樂．傢俱的音
樂）發展為《空間的音樂．環境音樂》。《環境音樂》，與背景音樂BGM不盡相同。背景
音樂，總是難免留有些古典音樂的影子，含有作家或演奏家傳達的意圖，而《環境音樂
》，則只是音響的一種特殊設計，完全沒有類似傳達的意圖。

為了增加欣賞本專輯《地球村的風情畫》時能更進一步理解，本專輯並介紹世界幾處較
具代表性之地方，提供參考。

一邊欣賞《環境音樂》，一邊了解世界各更地之歷史與地理，對旅遊亦多有幫助，真是
